Who We Are

Green Arch Designs was established in June 2012 as a Consulting Architectural, Project Management and Infrastructure Management firm. The practice is registered with the National Construction Industry Council (NCIC). It is wholly Malawian and gender balanced firm and is committed to serve both local and international clients in the best possible way as demanded by the profession. The practice is managed by a Principal Partner who is a registered Professional Architect and Project Manager, Mrs. Miranda Nkunika Mulaga. Architect Miranda is one of the few practicing Female Qualified Architects in Malawi. The firm thus prides itself in being one of the pioneers of female led construction consultancy firms in the country. Since its establishment, it has provided architectural services to the public and private sector as well as individual clients. The practice’s portfolio ranges from institutional buildings, commercial buildings, office complexes and houses for individual clients. The Principal Partner has considerable experience in public sector designs having worked in the public sector for over 10 years. The vision of Green Arch Designs is to be a leader in the provision of architectural services that are environmentally conscience as well as economically and aesthetically sound.

Our focus is to deliver buildings which are not only buildable and aesthetically acceptable but also buildings which are environmentally sensitive and require minimal future maintenance services. We are an energy conscious firm. In the current economic climate our services are tailored to meet cost and time constraints.

Green Arch Designs has well qualified staff, which comprises of the one Principal Partner a graduate architect, and an architectural technician who are all members of the Malawi Institute of Architects and Board of Architects and Quantity Surveyors. It also has the support of an administrative assistant and a part time Chartered Accountant
